This is my “what is going on with my life?” face. Because I seriously can’t seem to have a normal week.
I’ve already told you that the week before last was not what I expected. This past week was no better. It’s too late and I’m too tired to write it all out but I absolutely hate to not keep some kind of updates going.
So here’s my update. If you want to read the long story – go over to Rose Bakes and you can see everything that I had going on last week. If you want the short story… I went out to eat with some amazing cake ladies, my son got a camo cast on his broken arm, I ate out again when I went shopping with my Mama, I had SEVEN cakes plus other sweets on my schedule and I didn’t track my food every day.
I think somehow I’m getting a tiny bit better at tracking in my head (I’m not not not going to quit tracking on MyFitnessPal – I’ve just had a hard time with it the past two weeks) because even when not tracking, I didn’t start gaining again. I don’t think that sentence makes sense but I’m too tired to figure out how to make it right, so oh well.
Here’s what happened in July:
July 1: 220.4 pounds
August 1: 213.8 pounds
Yep, that’s right folks…. I lost and kept off (for the last two weeks) 6.6 pounds!! I’m not gonna lie – I have mixed emotions about this. I’m disappointed because I really wanted to lose 10-12 pounds. I wanted to get back down under 210 at least… and it didn’t happen. That makes me want to cry.
So here we are… it’s already August 4 and I’m hoping to get right back on track. I’m praying for a more normal routine and schedule and rest. I need more rest. I’m also aiming to start tracking 100% again and posting my food journal!
But for now – I’m off to bed! I planned to be asleep by 11pm and it’s already 12:30am. I just told you – I need rest. But please… tell me, tell me… did any of you lose weight in July? Or have any other successes you want to share?? Please leave me a comment! xx
